Graceful Speech provides accent improvement and English conversation classes for adults. Learning through problem solving is stressed. Communication is not one-sided and is much more than just learning words in a foreign language. You must use listening skills, words, grammar, voice, cultural knowledge, and creativity to successfully communicate with someone whose primary language differs from yours.
The week before the class begins all students will participate with an online learning style questionnaire and pre-test.
Classes are limited to six (6) students and are offered in the mornings 8:30 to 11:45 and run for one week at a time. All materials are designed for beginning to intermediate level students. Field trips and homework are part of this intensive immersion program. Special programs can be designed upon request for particular job needs or interests.
